1. Information We Collect
Account info (name, email, photos, profile details); content you submit (entries, messages); payment info, collected directly by Braintree — we never see your full card number; basic usage/device data.
2. How We Use It
To run the Service: your profile, quests, messaging, payments, and improvements to the app.
3. What We Share With Other Users
Your profile photo and entries may be shown to Muses judging a quest you've entered, and to Gladiators competing in one you host. If you win a phone-number quest, that number is shared with you by the Muse's own choice — never automatically.
4. Third Parties
Supabase (database/storage) and Braintree (payments) receive only what they need to do their job.
5. Data Retention
We keep your information while your account is active. Request deletion anytime by contacting us.
6. Your Rights
Access, correct, or delete your information by contacting tpdarmstrong@gmail.com. You may have additional rights depending on where you live.
7. Children's Privacy
Not for anyone under 18. We don't knowingly collect data from minors.
8. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your data, but no method is completely secure.
9. What's Public vs. Private
If you host a quest as a Muse, your profile photo and quest details are publicly visible to anyone, including people who haven't created an account — this is core to how Penelope works, letting Gladiators see who they'd be competing for before signing up.
If you compete as a Gladiator, your entry — photo and any submission content — is private, visible only to you and the Muse of that specific quest, never to the public or other Gladiators.
If you win a phone-number quest, that number is shared with you by the Muse's own choice at the moment she crowns you — never automatically or in advance.
